The vice president of AEA attends all representative council meetings, all executive board meetings, and
any other meetings as deemed necessary by the president. The vice president performs any duties assigned by the president.
The vice president also assumes the role of the president -- temporarily -- should the president be unavailable to serve for
an extended period of time.
