ONE Team
(Organization & Negotiation in Education)
The ONE team supports the bargaining team to help our union reach the best possible settlement at the bargaining table. Responsibilities:

• Organize members
• Organize events at Site and District levels
• Conduct Site Meetings with Site Reps if requested
• Collect and organize member data
• Educate membership
• Coordinate with other committees

Antioch Educators for Social Justice
The Antioch Educators for Social Justice is a committee of AEA members that meet monthly to work on solutions to social justice issues in our schools and district. This committee was formed in 2021. The first goal of the AESJ was to work on bringing Ethnic Studies to our schools, which is still a work in progress. 

Grievance Commitee
​The Grievance Committee is comprised of volunteers who are critically interested in the advocacy of our members’ rights. They meet as needed to review the Agreement between AEA and the District, strategize on grievances and contract issues facing our members, and help members process any violations of the contract. If you are interested in protecting the rights of your colleagues and seeing they are treated fairly under our Agreement, this is the right place for you!

PIC (Political Involvement Committee)
The PIC team is the political arm of the association. Politics govern everything we can and cannot do in public schools! Join this committee to:

• Develop relationships and work closely with political leaders and organizations
• Run campaigns
• Collect and organize political data
• Coordinate with other committees on areas of focus and need
• Attend political meetings and events
